When Everything Falls Away: A Mortality Meditation with Darnell Lamont Walker & Lisa Pahl

$50.00

Saturday, August 8th

10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

$50 | Limited to 25 Participants

What might change if we spent a little time reflecting on our own mortality?

In this guided experience, Darnell Lamont Walker and Lisa Pahl will lead participants through a death meditation that invites them to imagine the gradual losses that often accompany aging, serious illness, and end-of-life. As we move through the meditation, participants will be asked to consider what it might feel like to lose certain physical abilities, roles, possessions, and aspects of identity.

Following the meditation, we’ll spend time writing, reflecting, and sharing about the experience. Together, we will consider questions such as: Who am I beyond what I do? What matters most when time is limited? What parts of myself endure even as circumstances change?

The experience concludes with an opportunity to reflect on how these insights might shape the way we live, love, and connect today.
